Meet the Staff

Michael Bryant, Crossing the Jordan

Michael Bryant

President, Co-Founder
E-mail Michael Bryant

Michael Bryant co-founded Crossing the Jordan with his wife, Dana.

Michael is also the publisher of the Christian Bee Newspaper. Michael has a deep passion for serving the community.

After years of struggling with his own addiction, Michael surrendered his life completely to Christ.

He stumbled onto the principle that if he wanted it, he had to give it away.

“Pure and undefiled religion before God, the Father is this; to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27

Michael has committed his life to walking out this verse and being a father to the fatherless.

Dana Bryant, Crossing the Jordan

Dana Bryant

Executive Director, Co-founder
E-mail Dana Bryant

In 1999, Dana Bryant was given a vision to open a home for hurting and broken women and children in Sonoma County.

Today, that vision is a reality.

The Lord put that purpose deep in Dana’s heart as she struggled to get her life back after years of domestic violence and abusing drugs and alcohol.

Through that experience  and after giving her life to Christ in 1999, Dana knew that women like herself would only be able to truly change their lives and heal through the love of Christ and the support of the community.

This is our mission- transforming lives through the love of God.

Crossing the Jordan is about leaving the desert, crossing over our Jordan River’s and entering our promised land filled with milk and honey.
